i asked outside around rm7 extra for 1 ft ,normal will be 10 feet onli.. let say like our in master room..is around 50 ft will come up to cost around rm350 to 400.. but beunos charging rm 660

as for the living room and other rooms should be cheaper summore coz its more nearer to the yard...

and im goin to ask the plaster ceiling outside as well coz just to be sure we are getting a gud deal..not just simply listen..

dun worry, we can share our contact together. plaster celing, wiring, kithcen cabinet I settle dy. Now looking for aircond installation, grill price and installation.

What I got from this shop in Equine Park is different :

Standard installation charges inclusive of 10ft copper pipe & electrical cable:

1hp : RM130
2hp : RM200

Additional charges beyong 10ft:

1hp : RM22 per feet
2hp : RM13 per feet

Price inclusive of copper pipe & electrical cable.

Vampire, your price include electrical cable and same regardless of hp?
Coz his aircond price is the cheapest I found so far.

wat brand and price the aircond you going to get? maybe we can go for the same one together for better bargain? how it sound?

Might be going back to Panasonic after hearing the salesman's comment.
LG have more function but more noisy.

rm130 fixing acc..is std price ler.. extra 1 feet extra rm7 onli..good quality cooper piping.. sum will claim theirs is gud quality tats why expensive.. but the person i met asked me.. u as buyer how u know ??? hahha i will tell gud one..but fix cheap one also u dunno... his one rm 7 is gud price...

even the ac price also very gud..plus he do trade in ur old ac (gud cond only)

this is official dealer for daikin and fujitsu ... in seri kembangan near equine park( ming chu) area.. they supply to other small shops...

i plan to just put ac in master n living..
putting ac in other 2 rooms are costly... and very very leceh.. due to rules of mgmt coz must put the compressor at yard and also the drain piping...
only 8k for 4 ac.. plus fixing..damm i can do many other stuff ler.....

If like that then very cheap leh. RM22 vs RM7.
Same installation price for different hp some more.
I think this is a very good deal.

Hi, just wanted to share experience using LG air-conds.

Had a basic 1HP LG aircond (white) in bedroom when staying at parents place.
Have 2 Art Cools, each 1 HP, when move to own place, one in bedroom, another in computer room.

LGs are not long-lasting, and develop problems after a year. The aircond at my parents place has broken down twice. (It's about 4 years old now)

The two LGs at my current house also developed problem after a year and a half. The first one, the motor for the fan (which blows the cold air out) broke down and had to be replaced. Cost RM350 inclusive of labour cost. Then a few months later, the second aircond also faced THE SAME problem.

So for me, when I get to the AH2, I definitely will not be going for an LG aircond.

But...the Art Cool really do look nice. Very nice. Too bad it's so unreliable.

Yup...I did. The one I'm using now is a 1hp Panasonic INVERTER unit.
But after hearing the horror stories, Panasonic might be the lesser evil.
But of course I won't go for the Inverter unit again even if I did finally settled for Panasonic. But hey.... then again, money still not paid. Anytime can go for a different brand. That's why join forum mah, listen to what other have to say. Anybody got anything nice to say about LG or other brand?

I might consider the shop VK recommended, at least their installation is reasonable price. wana go and hunt together this coming saturday? :p

he got sell panasonic also..but he never recomend coz parts use china made... only daikin and fujitsu japan product very quite, reliable and cold ...
and also not so pricy...

and he got fans also.. he can fix them as well.. gud guy ..very straight foward..

Saturday it is. Same time, same place. Need to confirm some dimensions for the grills.
For the fans, I found a shop in Puchong selling a brand called Wings. Remote controlled. ABS blades x 5. Gun metal colour. 3-year warranty (come to house). RM158. Cheapest so far. Panasonic & KDK are more expensive and only 1 year warranty. Have to take down the fan some more (or so I was told). But the brand famous lah. I also dunno how to chooose. Any comments.
Daikin I've seen before. Fujitsu??? Fujitsu notebook I know lah. Anyway, Sat go see and confirm.

thedude, I came across ur condition for fan as well, there is so much unknown brand fan so cheap in the market remote control with warranty all about 150++ only. But I guess wat make fans different is not remote control or non-remote, it should be the fans motor reliability. This is what I know for KDK why it is so expensive compare to others, their selling point is their motor system. Ask my colleage today regarding aircond, he use LG, York, panasonic and daikin before. He recommended york to me. Any comments?

My office use York lah. Always leaking. Hahaha...

KDK buy the motor from Panasonic but with different spec.

pg, are you sure bout this?? KDK buy the motor from panasonic but they able to sell it with ungly look but highlight with their motor reliability and higher price than panasonic itself. Wow then KDK is damn good in marketing. :p

Hehe...... you will know if you work in or deal with Panasonic before. They make motor and compressor and sell to other fan and aircon manufacturer. KDK is one of them. The strange thing is KDK stuffs seems a bit more reliable than Panasonic even thought using the same or almost identical motor. I guess this is due to the overall design and manufacturing control. If you are referring to aircon, Panasonic and Daikin make their own compressor. Daikin is number one brand in Singapore and quite a market leader in Australia. In Malaysia, they started to target consumer market recently. If you want a better brand beyond that, why not try Carrier.

Yup, I hv been told by one of the electrical shop oso tat KDK buy motor from Panasonic when I installed ceiling fans in my current house.

The shopkeeper asked me go for Panasonic but not KDK due to very difficult to find KDK service centers compare to Panasonic. He told me tat Panasonic provided in house service mean their technician will go to ur house to check, uninstall the fans n send for repair. But KDK dun hv tis kind of service!

KDK and Panasonic almost double the price of the non-branded unit. I think I'll most probably have to go for the cheaper ones to cut cost. Stupid plaster ceiling @#@#!@ !!!!!!
