Chumi4,
I oso plan to put my aircond on the wall which separate Room 1 & 2.
Living room n Master Bedroom will be the same place which decided by PC.
No problem for the drain pipe in Living room n Master Bedroom if v din change the aircon location.

3 solution for the drain pipe in Room 2 & 3.
a.) Hack the wall n conceal ur drain pipe which direct to common bath room. If u really dun 1 2 c the pipe then hv to hack the tiles too.
b.) Use water pump to pump the water to the pipe which hide in the plaster ceiling n direct to common bath room.
The problem is water pump got sound n need maintenance too. Each pump cost around RM200++
c.) No aircon for Room 2 & 3. What a Face

But not sure the type of copper pipe they use is tat the same.

tionwooi, give me a ping when you guys tt, let's discuss this tmr. If go by inverter with R410 coolant i think price might hike a lot....if fall back using R22 coolant and piping non inverter still deciding if this is good move for long term maintenance...Smile

Just to share with you all the price I got for the Daikin inverter aircond.

1.0 Hp - RM 1150 Non-inverter 1.0 Hp - RM 880
1.5 Hp - RM 1500
2.0 Hp - RM 2350

Installation charges for 10 ft piping
1.0 Hp RM 150
1.5 Hp - RM 180
2.0 Hp - RM 250

I'm not sure if the price is reasonable. I'm planning to put 2.0 Hp for the living room, 1.5 Hp for the master room. Still thinking whether to put aircond for second and third room.

I went to an electrical shop yesterday and the salesperson told me that for pana ceiling fan remote 4 blades there are 2 models, one normal and another specially for low ceiling. The low ceiling one costs around rm170 more than normal. Anyone hear of this before?

China brand... think twice. Kereta api also can langgar together...
Better buy Japanese brand, Shinkansen until now 40yrs+ no langgar before.. haha...
lol!

Anybody looking at panasonic 48" ceiling fan model F-M12A0 regulator type? I think it more suit to room 2 and 3 cos small space. The price also cheaper than standard 60" model F-M15A0..

tch, I hv the same measurement too! U get it from the aircon contact which I gif u previously?

FYI, I hv paid my deposit to the aircon contractor last week.
If u can get better offer than my quotation then better go for it.
If not y not u try tis contractor. They hv promised me will gif the same price to my friends.
Even u jus take aircon from them but din assign them to do the installation, they oso will offer the same price.

tionwooi, yes, got it frm eskimo sk also:p told them i got intro frm AH then they show me your quote Embarassed

price wise i think fair enough, just doubt if really need 45 feet from yard to master? i plan to do piping for master and living, but initial phase budget enough for master aircon only tongue

so in future if i got for living aircon i have to live with R22 coolant aircon (non inverter) unless i change piping again or buy daikin inveter. Was told that daikin only manufacturer using R22 with inverter, rest using R410 which cost ard 30-40% more for piping & servicing. dun feel like hack my plaster nextime for piping, that why i decided to do it one round.

on side note, they did blast up mitsubishi & daikin aircon to do noise compare, my friend and i also concluded that mitsubishi got the upper hand in terms of compressor noise suppression:) but only funny thing is mitsubishi call their series as "Mr Slim", albeit their compressor and internal unit were the largest size among all brand in showroom lol!

tch, I hv made my decision take:
a.) 2 pcs Mitsubishi 1hp for both small rooms
b.) 1 pcs Mitsubishi 1.5hp for master bedroom
c.) 1 pcs Daikin 2hp for living room.

I decided take Daikin 2hp for living room coz it is RM140 cheaper than Misubishi 2hp.

But one thing u should bear in mind is they din do plaster after hacked the wall. But I dun think u got many hacking since u jus install in living n master bedroom. So should b no problem to u. My contractor oledi promised will help me plaster the wall FOC! So no issue to me too. Ha..... What a Face
