Hi Guys,

The MO tell me..below 5th floor the aircond compressor must be fixed at the yard area, unles you fix at the balcony but make sure no one can see No

Hmm.just wondering if I am gonna fix the compressor at the yard how much HP aircond will it be sufficient for master room.I initially plan to install 1.5HP.

Any suggestions?

Last saturday when at AH, notice a unit already shift in on AH2 3rd floor facing pool. The aircon directly install at balcony and can see from outside clearly. Anyone notice? Is there double standard or not strict enforcement of rules by management?

some choose Daikin inverter R22 due to price is cheaper and the important is copper pipe is same as standard.
for those who already have standard pipe can change to this type of inverter.

if is Daikin inverter R410 the price will be much more higher than this.

let me clarify again
Daikin Non-inverter 1.5hp is RM1430
Daikin Inverter R22 1.0hp is RM1400

We tried PANA, Hitachi, LG at our relative house before all have it pros and cons, but we decide to go with Daikin, why?
Not due to it price or it design, it because Daikin aircond able to control the room humidity well.
We will not feel skin dry or sore throat when you wake up at morning.
And the temperature is well controlled it will not suddenly freezing or suddenly feel warm…
Plus it is a very quiet aircond, I almost cannot hear Daikin compressor noise even it is install at back to back way.

I m using daikin 1HP at my hometown room. I would say it is quiet but it doesnt become cold fast enuf. Another room in my house use Mitsubishi, it gets cold faster.
I m considering Panasonic or Mitsubishi, as Mitsubishi is giving 2+7 years warranty and have easy-clean function. Panasonic is of cos popular brand so service and spare parts are not a problem.

Haha yeepie, one thing not good about Mitsu is the non-inverter series design is not nice. Got some funny thing in the middle.
I like plain design like Pana or Mitsu inverter series..

GW got inverter or not for me is no different, coz we only use the aircond for less than 7 hours. Wink
Talk about design LG look very nice but not durable at all... so we look for a more durable aircond like Daikin or Mitsubishi.
Pana aircond i don't want to comment much, just my own opinion it is very dry and not suitable to my wife Laughing

Guys ur opinions are making me go for Mitsu... haha
But Mitsu must take care, the power is go to compressor first, then come back to the split unit and then turn on the compressor again.. (something like tat, the sales guy told me)
So when install, need to find real aircon guy and not normal baokaliaw technician, in case they F up the whole thing... Very Happy

James,
if using YORK please install your compressor at yard.... Embarassed

GW,
same to Daikin, it is better to install by authorized dealer instead of those sub cond.
Not all sub cond know how to install it properly.
For those dun want this problem one just go for PANA lor... tongue
Pana too common ady.

I hv decided go for Mitsubishi Electric non inverter since their warranty is longer compare to other brands.

2x 1hp = RM860/unit
1x 1.5hp = RM1,180/unit
1x 2hp = RM1,940/unit
