FYI. Those Daikin aircons are now from Thailand. No more made in Japan. I am using Daikin 1.5 and 2.0 right now. The Equine Park one is it called "Sunrise Refrigeration & Air-Cond Services". If it is, then their HQ is at Balakong, the Equine Park is just their branch. I bought from them previously as well.

I don't know the exact place as I don't have the receipt with me. But the Equine Park contact person should be the same as the Balakong one. Ya, his name is Richard. So far no problem on my Daikin except the 2.0 get a bit nosier and less cooling because it has been a year plus I never do any service to the unit, not even individual manual cleaning. This 2.0 is at my dinning area where averagely operate 6 hours per day except Sat and Sun running at 12 hours per day. The 1.5 is at my master bedroom which operates at 7 hours per day. So far I am satisfied with that. I think you can only have Daikin if you want to go for inverter with normal refrigerant.

Opposite Jusco got lots of shop lots right? Go all the way to the end. At the junction, make a left turn. The shop is next to a chicken rice shop. Big Daikin signboard.

Re: Air Conditioner & Fans
Hi, guys, I have a question that perhaps you could help me. For all the air con installed definitely they need copper piping. Currently the living hall and master bedroom already have drainpipe installed, thus only need copper piping. As for bedroom 1 & 2, they will need both the drain and copper pipes. Since some of us will do plaster ceiling, my questions are
a) do you run a check personally with the installer to ensure no piping leakage before the plaster ceiling is up?
b) is there any special design or installation method on the plaster ceiling that will ease the future troubleshoot of piping related matter?

Re: Air Conditioner & Fans
a) I also dunno but I guess unless they totally forgot to seal the pipe u'll never know since the condensate water is not really running like your taps. Better u ask the aircond guy.
b) The only way is to put up a manhole. Will not be so pleasing to the eyes but at least still can climb up to look see. If u want to go up and do some repair then it's a different story. Then u'll need to make it high enough so that u can go in an work on it. But if like that I think ur ceiling height maybe left 8ft onli...

Re: Air Conditioner & Fans
I was thinking fitting two fan but it looks funny so I will be buying a standing fan for the dining area. If dont want to use I just move it back into the third room nearby the toilet.

Re: Air Conditioner & Fans
i just bought another ceiling fan...i will install 2 fan at our living room, same idea with Lucas. yap ben, i think it is quite troublesome if u always need to move ur standing fan leh, must think carefully, apo everyday u will need to move ur standing fan when u eat.

Re: Air Conditioner & Fans
i installed only 1 5-blades fan on living room and sometimes find it to be insufficient when the weather is hot.. however most of the time it's still okay:)
by the way Ben, i've moved in.. though my house is still not very complete.. Macy delayed my sofa
blind yet to be fixed on some windows
still sourcing for display cabinet to display my transformer collections.. etc etc
