Are we allow to change the main door? I know for entrance grill, we need to follow the specification but how about the main door?

Actually, my main door sucked because of many obvious dark and wide lines and spot on the surface of the door. AH only repaint for me and reluctant to change the door.

fire door is quite expensive but i duno AH one got pass QA or not.the fire door found at office building look nicer than it,at least the surface.for industry used, they need to provide a certificate for this.we cant simply call it a fire door.fire door must at least withold 1 hr burning before it goes down.i wonder a cert for household used fire door will be given.also,1st time hear house need fire door.

er...I am sure our bomba authorities did do their work for inspection. I means if you quiry all the QA and QC there is too many thing for you to worry about, first thing is the building structure itself rather than the small fire door. Have faith with it. according to the spec, that is the fire door, whether is withstand one hour fire or not is up to bomba to check it. You might want ask for the bomba certification test cert from AH if you have a dout.

The door is kind of cheap door when I check the cross section. 3 layers. Almost the same as our normal door except the center layer is with some kind of chipped board. I doubt this is the real fire door we are talking about.

Anyone here make a deal with "Ah Sang" (the AH uncle who oversees the contractors) on the grills? His friend is doing the grills actually. I saw a few grills from different units compared to his. His one workmanship seems better for both the stainless steel and mild steel. Just wanna get your idea on this.

I didn't really ask the exact price. Just a rough estimate.

a) Stainless steel grill at main entrance and yard, mild steel at balcony, master bedroom, bedroom 1 & 2 for about RM5000

b) Mild steel grill at main entrance (steam paint with edge frame), balcony, master bedroom, bedroom 1 & 2 (all normal paint) for about RM 2200

c) Stainless steel grill at main entrance about RM2700

d) Stainless steel grill at main entrance and yard about RM3XXX (sorry can't remember the number)

I notice the rectangular tubes of the mild steel grill are all having a better radius edge where they are a bit rounded.

What do you think about the above.

I think before Kumar's grand opening already so many curious people come and visit already. That day his neighbour was going like.... oohhhh... aaahhh... Make all the other so called show house look so plain. His jacuzzi / koi pond / japanese garden / open air Balinese shower is one of a kind. Hahaa.... lol!
