DinKnight, not to say not rush to move in...once get VP, you will have to start paying maintenance fee and get all the defects done...lets not forget abt the loan also...paying all these for nothing for half yr also angry...

once get VP then possible defects rectified before signing handover, I will start upgrading my unit a little at a time...

This would be my idea for plaster ceiling, simple design only... would probably add some yellow downlights as well.

But Knight, doing such Plaster ceiling hor, its very hard to clean as all the dusk will stuck in the opening you have there... Im planning to put some side plastering and put some yellow light shine to my wall... may be lar... depends on my budget.. hahha.. since AH1 story now end... its our time d... lets work together~!! HAHA..

yeah cleaning will be an issue with this kind of plaster ceiling.

oh well, i'm still undecided on this design. will consult the contractor on designs and budget to choose when it is time to renovate..

the design is for the living room with aircon one.then cleaning not needed?

Aircond or no aircond will still gather dust eventually. I think the rule of thumb is more nice then more maintenance lor. Agree?

Yeah... Impossible to on aircon whole day le... your pocket will break.. haha

I like the design also. Simple and nice. I think is not that expensive if you dont do it all the unit

Hi guys, I guess you all finish confirm your contractor liao right? I'm planning to do the minimal for my house. Plaster ceiling for living and dining hall, fan for living and master bedroom, aircond for master bedroom, lighting for the whole house and the grilles for front, yard, balcony and windows. Anybody you recommend? I need to finish all ASAP as I need to move liao.......going to kena halau.....hehehehe

fastest one of course is go through those "road bully" contractor, you can see alot of them siting infront of front door there, just go and ask but honestly, I dun know bout their price and importantly duno also how their workmanship, so it is ur choice :p

oh yeah. i was stopped by the road bullies before. make me and my gf scared onli suddenly got ppl block us heheheh

Most contractors are busy during year end. Even my own "project" was delayed a week and for that I have to call two three time everyday to push for it. Make sure whoever you confirm with can CONFIRM the delivery date if u r really rushing to move in. Be careful with those who "everything can" but at the end everything can't. Since u r very new to the forum:

Lightings : Puchong have many shops surrounding Tesco. Bandar Putri also got many. Try Top Ten (if u have no time to shop around), many choices and reasonable prices.
Aircond : At least 3 of us have went for the shop in Equine Park. Opposite Jusco. Big Daikin signboard. Look for Richard & mention Aman Heights.
Grills : We went for the shop in Jln Besar, a few shops from the Fatty Chicken Rice. Still need 10-14 days from confirmation though.

Hey thanks thedude, yeah I'm trying to be really careful with the contractors. Me and my GF are going for the bare minimal first....and then slowly do the rest.......

Mind to tell how much Richard charge nowadays for the Daikin aircon unit (1HP, 1.5HP, 2HP, 2.5HP, 3HP)? How about the piping?

Hmmm....seems like i would pay him a visit to get a quote then. Waiting for a contractor to quote me on plaster ceiling, grille and lighting wiring......from Puchong. Still haven't quote me yet.

Aircond I dunno. I just bought mine from SenQ coz can get longer warranty. Piping 550 and above depending on the type and size of your aircond.

Hi, I just get the detailed quote for plaster ceiling (kitchen, dining, living, master bedroom, bedroom 1 & 2). The design is L shape at the living hall with light through at the edge. It comes up to 5K. For the ceiling sheet, they charge me 3.5 per sqft. From some of the earlier posts, I notice the price range from 3.8k to 4.5k. Is my quote absurd?

is it include all lighting point charge? downlight and edge light looping....

It doesn't include the lighting point and down light. Is 5K absurd? What should be the normal price?
