Yes, roughly 3k for living+dining with everything included except the lighting set (cover+bulb)....

GW, corridor walkway got coz need to conceal aircon piping, no need extra electrical point coz already got, Rm60 settled:)

Master room think i'll go for it also, the cement ceiling is disasterous, got rough quote ard RM700 (exclude extra wiring + electrical point), but not sure still fits my budget not:(

Yes, budget is my problem also... so i think of doing plain one with box up + downlight. can cover more area with the budget that i have...
u must consider the wiring part also cos it can come to very substancial amount. Plaster ceiling is plaster ceiling, wiring is wiring and installation is installation!

GW, i was told by contractor light point include extending wiring and socket point, ard RM50 per point, so more down light definately poke big hole on wallet:p

Given same price, i go for T5 lights than too much down lights, latter seems too much hard shadows and show wall uneven surface if too near, but if put yellow can create create very good ambiance like show room:)

just found some example from internet, no idea about this contractor, just serve as reference for desgin you may want:)

I am just in the midst of working my renovation out. I plan to move in this year, mid or end.. I have to rework my budget, seems like rm 30K isnt really enough for kitchen-livingroom- masterroom, .. seems like everything is so expensive now..

wish to have a dream designed lving room and kitchen.. but with the plaster ceiling ideas going, it seems impossible now.

any ideas on plaster ceiling design and light points to look fascinating and not overly budgetted price..
