yes, not all lift have indicator for each floor. I agree. But at least, they show the indicator about the lift is going up or going down now and at least they got audible indicator when the lift arrive. I dun even see that in our lift =.=

Hi all! Yeah I noticed the lift no "ding!" sound when open door. Quite confusing. Was there with a sales guy and we kept on missing the lifts.

no doubt the lift is one of the worst thing.. apart from many other inferior things in AH.. i guess we should push for the installation of indicators, if possible..

by the way, we're off topic..

i got the floor layout of which wall can or can't be hacked yesterday, really speechless.. the area we can hack is so limited~~ the officer there said even minor hacking for wiring also can not.. you guys got any alternative or creative idea for the additional power point?

Just be glad that we can still make a hole for the kitchen hood.
Plaster ceiling is the answer. That's what most of us is doing. I think the wooden panel looks nice but hopefully it won't rot when come in contact with water (from mopping and etc.). The plaster ceiling guy the few of us have confirmed with is quite knowledgeable. I can pass u his contact if u want. But best for u to decide where u want your stuffs first then ask him to recommend solutions. Or try Beunos, since they boast that they can provive a COMPLETE solution. See what they can REALLY come up with. No harm trying but just be careful with them. Everything need black & white from them.

T,

I've the same problem with you regarding the budget. I was same like you budgetted 30k only. Buenos offers quite expensive but atleast it keeps you from all the fuss why not try it.

Btw,
Anyone mind snapping some photos the size of lift? I might be dropping on Sunday. Anyone tag along? Razz

The king size matress should come in 2 pieces, so no issues. The frame..well... better assemble it inside your unit. Why hacking wall suddenly become lift size discussion?

Mr. Spiky Hair I think. U can't miss him. Always running around with walkie talkie and a bunch of handphone on his belt. But I still see him around though even after the photos have been posted on the notice board. I guess it's business as usual.

Massive hacking to shear wall shall be strictly prohibited (esp. those making big big opening or remove part of it or cutting grooveline too deep and long) as it will definitely affect the stability of whole building. Shear wall is load bearing wall which something like column to support the whole building. If the shear wall supports are seriously weakened, may cause building collapse.

In my opinion, small hacking like chipping < half inch to embed the electric wires shall be acceptable but anyway should ask mgt to seek an advice from developer's consultant engineer.

Still can do but not hack wall to conceal. Means u have to find other means of concealing such as plaster ceiling, cornice, wall panel, furniture, etc. Cheaper alternative would be using the plastic box thingy.

Hi, a quick question. AH had hacked my bathroom for piping repair. They told me that even with the same tiles, the color will be different because the tile color depend on the production batch. Anyone heard about this before?
