Thanks for your help
Did you meet the lady that keeps chewing gum while talking to you? Hahahaa...
I feel they not very "pro" lah...
Limited choice and price not so competitive also lah...
But that's my 2 cents worth lah...
lol, she just a sales person mar, maybe the "sifu" work good ler haha.
any recomendation from you? I am really new to this. I pretty concern bout workmanship
Aiyah... actually that day I reply liau... but somebody said some dunno what "rollback". So I'm gving my 2 cents again.
If $$$ is not a concern, I would recommend Symphony (previously MFI) in Bandar Putri.
The cabinets are fully imported from UK.
So on top being relatively pricey, there's also a long lead time. 2-3 months if I remember correctly.
I've dealt with them previously for my house in my hometown.
Service is excellent. My mom have only praises for the "sifu" that installed the cabinets. Very pro and courteous.
I dunno about you but to me, the salesperson / front liner is the representation of the company.
I dun trust her so.....

Re: Renovation Plans
For those planning to put up the grills, AH have a standard for the grills.
Or at least the grills for the main door. I was told that we must follow that particular design.
When I asked for the grill specs for other areas, the girl also blur.
Not sure when they can decide on what you can and cannot put up.
There's a rule book but I have not read it.

I've read through the Rule Book they gave you when you collect the keys.
Some highlight of the rules:
- No windows on the balcony. Anything facing outside must not be modified as it will change the asthetic of the building. So no sauna liau.
- Not sure whether grill on the sliding doors are allowed though?
- Wet area is facing inside, so I think still can get approval.
- No turning the balcony into a pond unless you want to pay for a survey to evaluate the effect to the units below you. My grass project also cannot.
- No pets except small fishes in small tank. Hamster also cannot if you follow the book exactly lah.
- No water bed.

Re: Renovation Plans
jing,
I was having the same thought of yours that having the behind yard fitted with sliding windows like our balcony with grill. Even though staying at the 10+ floors is better to be safe than sorry. As for the balcony also I have the same idea. Although my unit facing KLCC view but when rains water will fall in so I was planning to have a sliding windows to block the rain coming in. I was even to make the balcony like Balinese style with a small koi pond but now the pond has to take off from my list.
Grill for the main door will be a problem because developer will always say cannot so if you fitted the grill just nice at the front porch but not outside the porch I think still able to go thru, so if anyone has fitted all thos things pleas share with us

Re: Renovation Plans
The main entrance grill standard issued by AH did not state that so clearly but I guess it should flush with your wall (not protruding out to the corridor). But the design given is very very plain. No flowery or abstract design.
I just hope they would not object to the wet area grill as mine is a corner unit facing outside.
The windows are definitely out but not sure if putting up a bamboo blind is ok.
I think the pond is still possible PROVIDED it's not BUILT-IN onto the floor i.e.; the water is contained.
The pond in the show house is actually a fibre glass container surrounded by some concrete block (just in case u did not notice).
Serdang Raya got a shop doing that but very expensive and limited design.
I saw another one in Bukit Jalil but have not dropped in yet to have a look.

Re: Renovation Plans
Dude,
Thanks for the input. I didn't notice the pond is made up with fibre glass container. I was thinking getting the pond that is selling at Jusco Equine. A Small one. If no grill and windows at the the back yard it will be a BIG bummer because mine also a corner unit but now I'm living at Puchong one of the condo there is people cover all up the back yard. That's let's me keep thinking about it. Bamboo blinds also my last alternative.
Jing,
So does my indoor balcony...

No need to go anywhere. I'll just drive my car out from the parking lot to right under the sun and switch off the aircond.
You can then sauna all u want.

ok as for the grill, no restiction on type of material used as per management.. so wrought iron ok.. but color should not be fancy ones..and only one design can be done...
as for the main door i wanted to install the type got glass in overall still solid wood see the picture below:
hope it can be approved..hehhehe will try my luck by appeal to the mgmt
