This design is what I'm planning to do. My wife would also like to have the built-in oven and microwave. But i think the space is quite limited. Unless, put it at the base. Any idea to share where to put the oven + microwave?

Meesan, "officially" they are blacklisted. But I think management did not do anything to stop their business since they opened their showroom at ground floor.
I asked management before, they can only say that Lee is blacklisted, while the one at 14th floor is OK.
So you might want to directly ask management office about this, forummers may give different opinion based on each's understanding Smile

there are a lot of contractors outside you can bring in also. Unless Lee giving you big discounts, else why risk your deposit and hassle?

Anybody know which to do first:
1. Concrete top open the hole for hob
2. Hack the wall to install hood
I need to ask the shop to deliver the hood and hob due to my kitchen contractor need to open the hole in concrete table top so need actual measurement of hob. But when they deliver, i need them to install the hood for me.
As hood and hob must align to each other, can i ask the person to deliver first, let my contractor open the hole, then come back another day to install the hood?

GW, i have no idea too, since i'm planning for concrete top also, my idea is to give hob measurement to do hob hole, measurement for hood to do kitchen cabinet. After both completed then only install the appliances...Smile

tch, I did the same thing, but the contractor said better get the actual hob cos sometimes the measurement is not accurate and will give trouble when mounting into the wrong size hole.

I thought the hob is just sitting on top of the concrete only. I dun recall it being bolted down in any way. If I'm correct, some tolerances in the hole should be fine.

It got 2 type of installation. One type called built-in mean v hv to open a hole on our concrete to put the hob down. Another type is free standing jus like wat thedude said jus put the hob on top of concrete.

Which type of installation v choose is depend on our self. Anyway I choose built-in type n hv gave my contractor the measurement. The measurement is stated in the hob flyer.

One word of caution from my recent experience:
Due to my sink is deep, the KC contractor need to "lower" the water pipe that developer provide. The contractor told me that the joint "or something" is very deep in the wall. They had to hack so deep that one of the tiles in bathroom 2 fell off.
Luckily now all settle the plumbing side and they tampal the bathroom tiles back for me. Maybe tomoro will lay the tiles onto the concrete slab :great)

Hi Madoct10, my KC n wardrobe also contract to unity. The concrete top already done with tiles, yesterday Patric came for final measurement for the carpentry. Their service really top notch, even he was not afraid to explain to me their recent "customer claim" in lowyat forum. Great to know urs turned out OK!
Judging by the uneven wall at my master bedroom, I hope they can adjust my wardrobe to the fittest. Haha.. Will know it when they come to install after raya holidays.. Smile
