Bad Shoping Experience

I had a really bad shopping experience last Sunday at a furniture shop in Puchong called Home Star Furniture (it's a big shop right next to LDP).
They say a fool learn from his own mistakes but a wise man (or woman) learns from others' mistakes.
Few months back (in September), after months of searching, I finally found a coffee table that i like.
The price was kinda expensive but I thought what the heck. I told the saleswoman that I won't be needing the item yet until sometime in Dec. She said it was ok and that they'll keep the coffee table for me if I can put in a 30% downpayment. And so I paid. And guess what happen when I went back to the shop to settle the balance and arrange for delivery? They said, oh no more stock. Why dun u just take something else.
I mean WTF !!! I already paid 1/3 and have the date put on paper and they told me no stock. Man, I was pissed off. And even more pissed when I can't find a replacement. All sorts of excuses were given.. the saleswomen resign already lah... manufacturer fault lah coz no keep stock..blah blah blah... I mean what do I care if the sales person got kidnapped by Abu Sayyaf, I just want my f**king table. Not satisfied, I demanded to see the manager hoping for better answers. Out came a bald guy called Alex. And the same old story. Didn't even offer a bloody appology. Not even one word of "I'm sorry" from either of them. To cut the story short, I didn't get my table, an appology or even a fake intend to calm me down. I'm glad I didn't order the rest of my furniture from them (which I had originally intended to) coz if I did I'm sure I'll end up with a japanese style house (everybody sit and sleep on the floor). I thought the painters were horrible but this is by far my worst experience. A shop, its staffs and even the manager that have no integrity, doesn't care about the customers and doesn't keep their promises. If u had ordered something from them..well... good luck... and if u haven't..don't bother going there.. My advise ...avoid this shop by all means....

HOME STAR FURNITURE is a shop full of crooks !!!

You've been warned !!! If u r working there or have someone u knew working there then I'm sorry buy I'm just telling a true horror story.
BTW, I got my coffee table somewhere else..cheaper and much nicer looking.. so in a way I have to thank their bad service after all... lol!

Then how about your 30% deposit at the end?
i also had place a booking for sofa....

haizz.. same issue wif my hood.. till i fight..till they cry..wakka.. lastly replace newer unit touch control which is more expensive.. w/o any extra charge..

and latest is my curtain suppose to come on 4/12.. stupid lady made mistake then promise 7/12 can come.. now janji 10/12...
if tat day also not coming... hehhee im gonna sula her up n down.... u are messing wif BLADE...somebody gonna get hurt..real badly....somebody...

The deposit exchange with something else that my GF wants. No discount whatsoever given. If take back the deposit also they're not gonna pay u with interest or something. Well... good luck to u and all the best....hope u r luckier than me...

Kumar, my curtains also from Macy leh and I've already paid in full for everything. Chia lat liau.... Shocked

hmm.... I guess this is unavoidable sometimes, it depends luck and just make sure everything come in black and white. Dun just listen on "sales talk"

I got all the documents but... Black and white... blue and red... yellow and green all also no use if they wanna screw u up.... it's a very sad fact.
