ur elec bill must be belw 100... then u nd2 print some kinda voucher for RM200 disc and go to the shops that participate in this campaign within 1 mth..applicable to frigde below 300L and aircon..the website can chk for model of electric appliance that qualify and participate shops..as i knw, most of the shops are selling at retail price..if u can get the item at more than RM200 disc from retail price,i think u can ignore this..

thanks for clarification lucas, i think this is worthless if they stick so much terms inside. For the Rm200 rebate from retail price i think it's no advantage already:( furthermore where i can get an electricity bill when i've yet to move in?:p

yes,if not mistaken the bill shud be not later than MAY 2011...

we have bill already..i hv received mine...our bill started June..so mayb u can use ur fren or family bill to purchase n ask them send the item to ur house..this is my suggestion..

btw,RM200 for fridge, aircon onli RM100..jz ask for better price from shops...unless rebate again aft disc price then really worth it...

lucas, quite a hassle for little discount, think go group buy or just buy few items from same shop might get bigger discount than this:)

tionwooi, i went megatex also, some stuff like hood/hob price quite reasonable, if you use citibank card think more discount:)

Plan to buy fridge n washing machine coz the price consider very cheap. Unfortunately they only can keep these items for 1 month but not more than tat. Since my reno haven start so at the end din buy them.

wah, plasma! personaly i prefer it over LCD in image quality albeit abit hotter. try compare 46 inch panasonic plasma 720p, LCD 720p & plasma 1080p, seems power consumption of plasma 1080p is just not more than 10% of LCD 720p, so if want power efficiency i think better go LED, but price LED still large idderence compare plasma/LCD... I bought the TV jus coz its price is much cheaper than LCD. I'm not really concern on the power consumption since I seldom watch TV. Mayb jus on Sat nite or Sun, weekdays no time for me to touch the TV. But......I touch my monitor everyday! Ha..... lol!

tch is right PLasma TV is consume more power if compare with LCD TV, and LCD is consume more power than LED TV.
Price for LCD TV is more cheaper than LED.

Tionwooi, I use my LED TV watch movie downloaded from internet. The effect is :great)

tionwooi, i think so, used to see specs on everything, but when comes to design, color & those subjective things i'm noob already Embarassed

my idea is if you don't need 1080p, better off go for 720p plasma, price cheaper than similiar 1080p LCD with better picture quality (same brand). Power consumption not much difference.

what yeepie mention also good factor, use tv as internet browsing, can do it via network player, SD/pendirve/portable disk, very convenient. before hdmi time i use s-video cable to play my laptop/desktop movie on tv too:)

I planning to get 40' LED. But need to see how much leftover from my renovation budget. As of now, it may be another 3 or 4 months before I can buy TV cos have to buy refrigerator and washer+dryer first... Poor man is like tat, need to prioritise.. T.T

ben,
Sony LED is with 60Hz panel
unless you go for high end model like EX720 or above.
then it will have motionflow XR 200.

Pana, Sharp, Samsung and LG panel normally have 100hz panel.

60Hz panel you will see shadow when playing action movie... hmm you ask them to show you the demo not from HDMI or blue ray player you will saw the different clearly when you compare Sony with other brand.

yeepie, is this some kind of monitor refresh rate your are talking about?

i have no idea about this, but from crude eyes observation, i felt LED having some similiar characteristic of plasma, LCD tends to have blurrer background when compare on same brand, or maybe it's just me:p

tch,
yes is the refresh rate of the screen a.k.a. TV panel.
Hz is one of the key factor why some brand look blur while you watching action movie.
Higher the Hz the motion look smother, it also depend on their processor chip technology. I asked around from Harvey Norman, SengHeng, Onking, ESH and other small shop all mention Sony have good processor "chip" but Sony don't have their own panel.

Some brand TV panel is very soft like Sony, must carefully handler when cleaning the panel screen.
Some LED have temper glass (same as plasma TV) but will see the light shadow... (Sharp)

Plasma have a weakness "burn-mark" cause by long hours of static screen (logo or astro sign). However latest Plasma TV have reduced the burn-mark issue... (no further study on this :p )

Korean brand look nice and cheap but i no confident on it durability :p
Coz my 20" monitor have problem just after few month Mad

if really want to compare.... you will pengsan hahaha....
lol!
